Hello Fellow San Juanians! My wife and I sail our San Juan 21 Mk II "Patience", #2380 in Watervliet, MI on Paw Paw Lake. There are no other SJ 21s here, but the local Yacht club allows us to race against their Stars and Buccaneers (handicapped, of course) on Sunday afternoons. We have done quite well with this handicapped system by taking 1st in '09 and 2nd in '10. We love our SJ 21 and keep it at a local marina on a boat lift. We try to get out on the lake at least 3 or 4 times/week. The Chicago folks clutter up the lake on weekends, but we pretty much have run of things during the week. We're glad to have this new website with Jim Hubbard's site closing down. Happy sailing everyone!
