Kettle Cup Regatta 12/ 4-5/11

Lake Monroe Sailing Association hosted its annual Kettle Cup Regatta for the Salvation Army of Seminole county.
Temperatures in the mid 70's, 12++ winds, great food, raffle prizes, silent auctions and
11 San Juan 21s
Jim and Margaret Davis made their true "maiden voyage" in "Final One II", a beautifully restored MKII
John North sailed "John's Juan" a pretty blue MKI for her 2nd time in the water.
Tom Dyll, "Black Jack", Greg Archambault and Anita Zebek "El Gato" , Ralph Jones "Dixie Chicken", Steve Sigfried "Box of Kittens",
Byron Hicks and D.J. McCabe "Pheonix Rising", Carlton and Aggie Brown"Just Us" gave our best efforts against
Randy Pawlowski "Pivot" 3rd place, Kyle Everly "Dat Dang Boat" 2nd place, and Fisk Hayden "Old Yeller" 1st place.
We had a great time and raised lots of money.
