Cheers

Yes,, I have rebuilt the transom. The hardest bloody job to do on the boat with cutting tools a couple pf inches from my face and a respirator, barely able to fit in the hole. Yikes! I have built up a plywood wedge to fit the mount on. I am currently waiting for toe-rails and a bunch of hardware to ...

Re: outboard bracket
SO now I have my bracket. My Mk III has a built up plumb section on the port transom for mounting the bracket. My Mk II does not. Anyone built up the transom or know where a wedge can be purchased to make the transom flush?

Anyone know where to get a bracket out west that isn't going to cost an arm and a leg?

Re: Outboard Motor
Any wave action or walking forward will quickly have your prop out of the water, even with most long shafts.

Re: Mk II Hull 1845
Holy %#@@%^% times goes by fast. I have just flipped the boat back onto her bottom after recording the deck and transom, cut out the V-berth and reinstalled it to stiffen the hull and fixed gouges in the keel. Right now painting the keel in my shop, boring out all through deck holes and filling with...

North Americans 2016
There is some news coming out soon. Anyone heard, besides me (and Albertans)? Make your plans soon. I know Greg and some hope to make it up from Klamath so no whining about how far it is. There will be good wind and I'm guessing a lot of beer............
Just sayin'
